Amstelveen – Renovation with extension

This three floors house is going under massive renovation.
We added a 4*6 extension at the back.
The extension expands the ground floor and enables the floor plan to be spacious.
To have the house filled with natural light. We chose to create the extension with two out of three sides made of glass doors.
We created a living room that is visually open to the garden. And that can actually open to the garden by two corners.
To tailor the house to its new homeowners.  
We completely changed the floor plan.
Moving the location of the shower-rooms to the front of the house. Which enabled these rooms to have a supply of natural light and air.

We decided to allocate two bedrooms for the children on the top floor, a shower room and a laundry room.
On the first floor, we created the parents spacious master bedroom. The master bedroom has an ensuite shower-room and a closet room.
On the first floor, we also placed the two study-rooms. One of them large enough to also function as a tv room.
